Our Commitment to Sustainability

MAG’s Sustainability Strategy ‘Creating a Sustainable Future for All’ is underpinned by our deep commitment to protecting our environment and putting communities at our core.

Our commitment includes net zero operations (market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions) by 2038, while actively collaborating with partners and our wider value chain to reduce Scope 3 emissions. Across our airports, we’re focused on; reducing consumption across our airports, maximising the sustainability of the materials we use, and minimising waste.

Venue

We’ve chosen a venue that aligns with our sustainability values. Located near public transport and on-site airport suppliers, it helps reduce CO₂ emissions and supports responsible logistics.

Local Communities and Food

The venue is committed to sustainable catering, offering vegetarian and vegan options, sourcing local ingredients, and minimizing food waste wherever possible.

Travel

To help us measure the event’s carbon footprint, we’ll be collecting travel data from all participants. We encourage everyone to choose the most sustainable travel option available—whether that’s public transport, carpooling, or low-emission alternatives.
